Meandering On Monday with Janet Lane Walters #MFRWauthor #Books #writing #poem

Meander 1 - Poem - Butterfly High

Butterfly kite high
Spies fir tree spears tugs winding
Lines -pulls to touch spring.

Puppet kite, I you guide with knotted chains.
My rough grasped rope holds you in struggle. Bend
As I husband you with elastic cords
And thinning strings cut tight into my hands.
Whisper threads snap and you are free to go.
I dangle vanished ties and wonder why.

Swoop in eagle dance
Find new currents. Ride the wind.
Butterfly kite high.

Meander 2 900 Books - My son discovered my Kindle indulgence the other day. There are 900 books inmy Kindle cloud. What bothered him the most is that I have read them all. Some of them I have read more than once. Some of them are books I have or had in paper. They are books I want to read again and series I really love. The total is probably higher today. I believe I have bought a few more books since he had his chance view.

Meander 3 - Writing. Murder and Sweet Tea is off to the editor. I have begun a new story and so far it's going fast and smooth. I'm sure this may not continue but I'll take advantage while I can. This one is the Leo Aquarius Connection and that leaves just one more of that cycle of books to complete. Feeling good. Writing well.

I fought to resist buying some non-fiction books about costume for research and lost the battle.

My kindle is loaded with books I have read, eight large book cases but not enough space for all my books.

In other words I share your passion for reading and writing.
