This is the cover for a double treat. Two novels in my Opposites in Love series. As to Astrology, I usually develop my characters using Astrology. This usually gives me traits to work on when developing the people in my stories. Interesting bit here is that among my friends and acquaintances, I know couples who fit the signs written about. Their loves are nothinglike the ones developed in these stories but they have given me some ideas especially for where there could be problems in the relationships.

Since I'm meandering today, here's a bit about life here. I'm 89, going on 90 and life has crawled but not slow enough for rest. Writing new stories will continue until I can't write.

I've also begun thinking about Christmas stockings, I have a lot that I do every year and it's time to start buying things to put in these stockings and sending boxes to my distant families.

Writing on my current book is into the next to the last draft and there are many words needed to be added to make this a book rather than a novella. So I must get back to work.

 Meander 1 - Reading - I've fallen behind on my reading lately. The tripsto the hospital somehow drain energy. But I'm back and will plunge in.

Meander 2- Thoughts - A week plus ago, with my foot tangled in the cover, I fell out of bed and smacked my forehead against the separater of matress and the other one. MY granddaughter rani and assessed the klutz. My fore head was turning color. "I may have a concussion, I said. "To the hospital, she said. Thre, th did he admission things and took me to radiology. Sometime later the doctor comesin. No concussion," he said. "That's great news, can I go home.

He shook his head. "You've broken your neck and need surgery. Off  went to a different hospital and had the surgery. All seems well now.

Meander 3- Writing - Doing a bit on the new ook every day. Hope to finish the first draft in July and then polish to send it off.

 Meander 1 - Reading - Finally finished April's reads on limo. Three interesting stories. One problem for me is they were long and at times repetitive.. Enjoyed Helen's story since I adore dragons. The other twp stories were well written but repetitive about some of the facts of the cases. Hope the authors will start looking for repeats. 

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Politics are with us and will be until  November. That's months away. Let's hope this one goes the right way, the way of saving out country from little men 

Meander 3 - Writing - Have four more chapters totype in and five to revise. Hopefully before the end of the month.

 Meander 1 - Reading - Slow going because so much is to be done on other projects. Am on the second of the three BWL Books I'll read for April. One not purchased but that's my choice. The first one was good and so is the second one so far. The new books will be out before I finish, I fear.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Today, I purchased an in door stairlift for the house. Actually, I just down paid it and have a year to decide. There are days when walking upstairs is tedious but I do manage. But and there's always a but. I have to depend of Ashley or Keith to walk behind me. So it goes.

Meander 3 - Writing - Have six chapters ready to do an final typing and then a final read. Who knows what i'll do with the book but I will find something Nine more chanpters to clear. Then it's forward to theHorror Writer's Demise.

 Meander 1 - Reading - Reading more slowly these days since I'm going to bed earlier. I'll be back to full energy soon. Reading Helen Henderson's latest. Now there are two dragons and one woman who can become a dragon. Seems one dragon is the villain. The way people react when they see a dragon even when it's helping makes me wonder how things were years ago. There are two love affairs happening and one with a heroine who is a healer still needing to be trained, Interesting interactions between people, especially one at least was considered a bad guy but turns out to have changed.

Meander 2 - Thoughts. I'm thinking of writing a letter to the editor. For several years my memories have been blasted into the past. I'll be 88 this summer. Seventy years after my eighteenth birthday, I became a student nurse, My first patients made me realize how unfair the world was to women. One was about 30and had eleven children. One was maybe fifteen and had been sexually molested by her grandfather for years. The reason they were patients were they were dying because one tried to abort herself and the other had an illegal abortion. The things I remember the most was the silence in the room and the odor that made me gag. I also remember the doctor answer my question. "Couldn't we do something?" He nodded. "We could." "Why not?" "I would be in jail. Abortions are illegal." He also told me that desperate women would find ways legal  or not to abort children. When Roe vs Wade passed, the nagging memories receeded. They were awakened when the Supreme Court undid that great happening for women and has grown worse since the Arizona decision. May god have pity on the souls of the men who want to see women in chains and to know that no matter how conceived their seed will grow to do the same thing to other women.

Meander 3 - Recieved the cover to my next book which is in the rough draft. Must get buys with the tyoping on the last fantasy and see what i can do with it.

 Meander 1 - Reading - Have started Helen Henderson's Fantasy involving several dragons. So far it;s kept me occuppied reading just one more scene.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Our once president says things that make me wonder. He clls all illegal immigrants animals. Does this include his mother who was an illegal immigrant. Does the man ever think about what he's saying or is his mother in a different illegal immigrant category. Can't ask since he won't answer but that's where I am.

Meander 3 - Writing - Have begun the rough draft of The Horror Writer's Demise.  Will see what happens when rough draft is done. Would like to have 50,000 words when I end up.

 Meander 1 - Reading _Reading bits from varied authors, Mary Balog, Elizabeth Peters and maybe others. Soon it will be time for BWL new releases. There is one I won't buy but that reason is mine to consider.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - My cell phone recieves strange messages from strangers. I have no desire to get involved but the question asked was one to interest me. What do I think of the supreme Court? Not a hard thing to answer. I feel they are close to being traitors and enemies of Democracy. Why they are giving Trump any time troubles me. He is a man who committed crimesand we don't know the extent of them. Who did he sell secrets to and for what. Wasn't for money that can be found but he gainse something from someone and most of the court's judges are waiting for their reward. No man is above the law and certainly Trump is not. Let the trials begin and let the people see just how much damage he has done. I'm sure mostof his followers will cheer but surely there will be some who can see the light.

Meander 3 - Writing - Have finished writing the draft of Keltoi. Now to finish the typing. Have started the planning for the Horror Writer's Demise and hopefully will completed within a week or two.

Meander 1 - Reading - Reading some Mary Balogh. She sure gives hr characters hard things to conquer but all does turn out. in the end. Now reading an Andre Norton one from the 1940's interesting WWII story.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Still concerned on the national level with the election that's months away. Sure wish the fat man would give up the ghost and settle down to putting his house in order. Don;'t like the idea of him begging for maney and I don't trust who he would take the funds from. All I can do is hope and pray for the best,

Meander 3 - Writing - Going slow with this UTI and being tired from lack of sleep. Hope I soon reach the with place so  I can finish wirting and get on to writing another thing while I'm waiting to finish Keltoi.

Meander 1  - Reading - Finished the three BWL offerings and found the last two interesting. Also learned a bit. Am now reading a Mary Balogh, Once again her characters are interesting and different.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Mr. Trump gave a disturbing bunch of remarks last evening or the one before. Why is the man so filled with hate? Why is he so hung up on dictators? I can't understand this in a man who has everything, money, wife, homes yet all he feels is hate. Does he hate himself?

Meander 3 - Writing - Have one and a half chapters to go. This urinary tract infection is holding me back because I'm so tired. Hopefully the antibiotics will take this all away,

 Meander 1 - Reading  -Just finished Eileen Charbonneau and Jude Pittman'sSpectral Evidence and enjoyed it very much. Have finished also Racing with the Moon, a different type of mystery and enjoyed it. Will review later.. Am reading No Time For Hate. Just scratched the surface and will finish in a day or two. Then it will be back to reading older books.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Politics are really soemthing else these days. That poor woman the Repos had tocounter Biden's Address - which was brilliant. Hers not so much- acutally the reverse of brilliant. Now we know what the Repos think of wemen - Keep them in the kitchen and give them a mostluy eradicated southern drawl and have them whimp, whine and cry but say nothing about what they would do to make this a better place to live. Guess they don't think that's important.

 Meander 1 - Reading - I'm reading one of Kurtz's Camber stories but a few more whapters and I'll be reading BWL's three releases this month and looking forwardto them.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Let's not hear it for the Supreme Court. I sure hope they don't say Trump is above the law and doesn't have to pay for his crimes. I know he gave many of them their jobs and they belong to that radical conservative group but they also aren't above the law and there are a few criminals sitting on those seats. Maybe it'stime for new members and no one gets a life sentence unless it's for c crime. The murder of the United States must be stopped.

Meander 3 - Writing - Am moving ahead with Keltoi and have started to work on the Demise of the Horror Writer. Finally came up with something to uncomplicate the plot a bit. and I now know who the murderer is.

 Meander 1 - Reading - At presentam reading an Andre Norton fantasy that's excellent. The heroine has a mirror that can enhance her power and she must us it to help others. She is basically a Healer.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - There is a primary in s. Carolina. I don't think I want either Trump or Haley to win. I do not like the things they stand for. Republicans want to turn theclockback to when women had no rights. I remember how when we lived in Texas, this was before my second son was born. I could not have a checking or savings account in my own name, though i could in Pa and Ohio. If I hadn't been married, my father would have to be on the accounts with me and if he wasn't around, a brother could take that place. Ridiculous.

Meander 3 - Writing - Am moving along with Keltoi and will soom reach the end of the second re-writing. Then it will be time to check and see what needs to be added and then what I will do with the story.

 Meander 1 - Reading - This week, I've been reading several Regencies. The books are all right, not great but good.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Dealing with Credit card companies is interesting. I've had to deal with two during the past two days. Odd thing is they're with the same bank but different cards. The Chase Amazon card problem was handled easily. Took no more than fifteen minutes. The Freedom one took a whole morning of talking to someone who I'm not sure knew what he or she was doing. Finally got that settled and recieved a new card so all is good. Hope I don;t have to do this again.

Meander 3 - Writing - Keltoi rewrite is going well. At this point I'm working on Chapter five for the second round and the word countseems to be what I need it to be. Aiming for 50,000 plus wwords. Who knows what I'll do with the book when it's done but I'll find somewhere for it and perhaps the others in the series to go.

 Meander 1 - Reading - Am now reading some Balogh's Regency stories. Several I haven't read before. I'm always amazed about how she chooses characters and gives them a hard time and gives them love in the end.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Politics is still so evident in the world and I do not understand why one man is thought by so many people to be worthy of becoming president again. From all I can see is there is something wrong iwth him and has been for many years. About the other candidate, they yell about his age. I'm older than he is and I think I'm mostly with it mentally. Sure i forget things but are they important things, I don't' think so. I think what should be stressed is the records. What did Trump accomplish during his four years. From all I can see is not much. He didn't handle COVID at all well, or the economy ov helping anyone but the rich. Biden has pulled the country from financial lethargy and has set many programs that help people. For me, it's who has done the most for the most people, not the most for the few,

Meander 3 - Writing - Moving forward with Keltoi but what I'll do with it when I finish I'm not sure but I will find something. It's my best yet.

 Meander 1 - Reading - Finished the last of the novels aboug a dragons in the Regency Era. Am noq looking forward to the new books from BWL. I will enjoy all but most only rate, I do reviews for the ones speaking to me.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Things are becoming more political and some strange events are happening. The reps , not all, but those on some committee tried to do a not nice thing. Fortunately didn't work. I'm not sure where their ideas re coming from but I really feel them are running over the cliff like lemmings. If their favorite gets in, I along with a lot of people will be in trouble since we are not line followers over cliffs.

 Meander 1 - Reading - Still reading Temeraire stories. These last ones are ones I never read and am enjoying them. It's now back to China and dreadful events there with attempted assinationof Crown Prince and attempt to put this on the British.

Meander 3 - Thoughts - NH primary finished and Trump won but not by as big a margain as before. Nikki Haile will stay in. I'm sure she won't over take him since he has such a bunch of fools who think his s--- doesn't stink. He is totally unfit to lead the country anywhere but to the depths,

 Meander 1 - Reading - Still reading Temeraire series and enjoyingthem. Now reading ones I didn't buy in paper. Also had to read my own Gemstones preparing for writing another Regency. Found it easy reading but also saw a few errors.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Not politics but this new stuff have to do for the books for the past three years on Amazon. Looks like a real chore since I have seven to do. Not sure I'll be able to finish before the nonsense wants me to pay,

Meander 3 - Writing - Rough drafting Chapter 8 out of ten at present. Then the material will sit fallow for a time while I see what needs to be added and changed in Keltoi thought what I'm going to do with the book when it's finished.
