Looking ahead first. This week I'm still working on Bird By Bird, a fun and informative read. There will be more on Plot on Wednesday. Thursday's interview is with Anastasia Amore, another EPICon meet. Friday I'll be putting out a Writer's Tip. Saturday a First Chapter and I'm not sure which book will get the nod. I still have a few more to go. Sunday I'll try to find three more blogs.
As to writing, I'm into the nit-picking part of Confrontations. This is the part I both love and hate. Changing words to make the impression stronger or putting a few in when I've left ones out is the easy part. Re-writing scenes that don't quite work is the hard part but these are things that must be done.
Last week I wrote the last word of the draft of Confrontations. The end. That's always a great start. I began thinking about the next story in the lineup and that's A Sudden Seduction, contemporary and a novella, hopefully around 25,000 words of spice and drama. This is the final sibling and he goes down kicking and fighting.
Managed through a series of miscalculations to miss a book signing opportunity. No more needs to be said other than I've learned a number of things not to do.
