Friday - Who She Was Before Featuring Kelly Janicello

1. What were you in your life before you became a writer? Did this influence your writing?

I worked in the corporate world as a physical security manager and then later in building management. I wouldn’t say either job really influenced my writing.

2 Are you genre specific or general? Why? I don't mean genres like romance, mystery, fantasy etc. There are many subgenres of the above.

I would say general. Though right now I am genre specific writing romantic suspense, I do have a sports romance on the back burner which I might get back to one of these days.

3. Did your reading choices have anything to do with your choice of a genre or genres?  I do tend to read a lot of romantic suspense that didn’t necessarily make me chose to write it. I have always enjoyed  the field of law enforcement and have a BA in Criminal Justice Administration, so it seemed natural for me to write suspense.

4. What's your latest release?

  My latest release is Roses Are Red.

5. What are you working on now?

I am working on my third novel, Into the Heat, starring Tim Cleary and Emma Davis, secondary characters from my first book.
