1. What were you in your life
before you became a writer? Did this influence your writing?
At the age of nineteen, I married
and my eldest son was born when I was twenty years-old. However, I always had a
deep interest in history, which influenced my writing.
2 Are you genre specific or general? Why? I don't
mean genres like romance, mystery, fantasy etc. There are many subgenres of the
above.
I write romantic romance, mystery and suspense
historical fiction.
3.Did your reading choices have anything to do with
your choice of a genre or genres?
Definitely, as a child I read
Louisa May Alcott, Elizabeth Goudg, Jeffrey Farnel and Geoffrey Trease. In my
teens I read Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Margaret Mitchell’s
Gone With the Wind,. The Angelique series by Sergeanne Golon and the works of
Georgette Heyer. From then on I read, and still read, historical fiction as
well as non-fiction.
4. What's your latest release?
Sunday’s Child set in
the ever-popular Regency era. “Despite loss and past
love, self-sacrifice, brutality and honour, will it be possible for Tarrant and
Georgianne to find happiness?”
5. What are you working on now?
Tuesday’s Child, which is the third stand alone
novel, linked by a single character, in my novels with a title for each day of
the week.
