Tuesday's Writer's Tip Building the Big Scenes #BWLAuthor #MFRWAuthor #Writing #Big Scenes

You've finished the opening and you must get to the ending. Maybe you have an idea how you want the story to end. First you must navigate the middle of the story. The middle is where you start to build toward the big scenes such as the rexckoning, the climax, the resolution.

To reach these scenes, you need to build bit by bit toward these scenes, allowing your readers to hope and to fear what might come. There are smaller problems that must be solved and come to a resolution before the big ones can be reached. The reader needs to see the destination slowly be revealed. There needs to be shown character growth before there can be those big scenes that will make the readher cheer of cry. We'll be discussing how this comes about in the next few posts.
