 Remember Me

Can young love stand the test of time and family interference?

Emma waited two years for Marc to see her as more than just a friend. Impatient, she let the school's star rugby player sidetrack her. Now free from that disastrous relationship, she has Marc's full attention. One person stands in their way: her mother opposes their relationship. Now, she must make a choice that will bring her heartache no matter what she decides.

Marc let Emma slip out of his hands once before. He's determined that won't happen again. Even though he's from the wrong side of town, they click on every level. She's the one for him. The end of their final school year edges closer. Every minute they spend together is precious. But time is not on their side.

One decision. Will their love survive?

Remember When (Book 2 in the Remember series)

Will the magic of Christmas give their love a second chance?

Gérard

My life is great, and my immediate family is all I need. There is no place for romance. Or is there? A decade ago Santi turned down my marriage proposal. When meddling family members find a way to bring us together the week before Christmas, I remember why I fell in love with her, but I can't forget how easily she walked away before.

Santi

Long ago I gave up my dreams of marriage and playing with the London Symphony Orchestra when my family needed me. Now, with my ill parents finally at peace and my baby sister grown, I'm ready to reclaim my life. I don't need Gérard to remind me about the joys of love, family, and Christmas I learned to live without. Or do I?

Friday Vida Li Sik is visiting and talking about Who She Was Before #MFRWAuthor #romance #second chance #sports reporter #lifestyle

 1. What were you before you became an author? Did this influence your choices as a writer?

I first worked as a sports reporter and, later, as a lifestyle features writer for many years. My first romance story was inspired by a trip to India where I covered a cricket tour. I think the people I've met in my life have definitely influenced my choices as a writer.

2. Are you genre specific or general? I don’t mean major genres but subdivisions or romance, mystery or paranormal.
I write sweet, second-chance romances. Everyone deserves a second chance, don't we? I also write women's fiction and Christian non-fiction.

3. What is your latest release
Remember Us is the third book in a series. It's a sweet, second-chance romance involving a slightly older couple. The main character is a recovering alcoholic and has many relationships to mend, specifically with her ex-husband and daughter.

4. What are you working on now?
I'm working on a series set in a small town in my favorite part of my country. It will have a mix of second-chance and fish-out-of-water romances involving couples from different cultures.

5. Does your reading choices influence your choice of a writing career?
Definitely. I have eclectic tastes when it comes to my reading and, other than romance will read anything that grabs my attention. I love stories where the characters grow and become better people, and in romance, they must have a       happy ending. I'm still learning about writing so I try and learn from writers such as Nora Roberts, Danielle Steele, James Patterson, and Sidney Sheldon. I also love Christian writers such as Francine Rivers.

6. Where can we find you?
