Thursday Writing Incal #BWLAuthor #MFRWAuthor #fantasy #seer #healer #warrior

When I began Incal, I thought first about the three young women who were to have a main rile in the story.  With a dying mother, as young children, the triplets were separated and each one taking to a different place to grow up. Part of the story concerned them finding each other before they could begin their quet. Then I looked at the three young men. One was the son of the villain. Until I was further into the story, I learned they were half-brothers though only one was recognized by the father. The city of Quito was important in the story since that's where the fighting priests had their training place and where the Voice of Midran in Incal had his base. There may be my favorite characters in the four books ending the series.

The mountains of tis land were interesting to use and some of this was based on reading I had done about the Incas when researching another book. Having bits and pieces to use in other stories is alsays great for a writer.
