Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #BWLAuthor #MFRWAuthor #Reading #Writing #Thoughts

Meander 1 - Rwading - Am reading the last of Anne Perry's Monk series. I really enjoyed reading the entire series. Some I had read years ago in paper but many I had not. Watching the main characters, especially Monk grow and change was fascinating. One day soon, I'll hit another of her series.

Meander 2 - Rhoughts - This bit about the republican congressman from Queens and Long Island makes me angry. The man lied and lied about everything in his life and somehow those who selected him as a candidate didn't look into his background. Makes me wonder about the other Republicans who won surprisingly in districts usually going to the Democrats. Are they also tainted by his nonsense. One of them is my local congressman and I may write to him and ask why he hasn't called for the offending and lying man to resign. How can any party tolerate such blatant lies and think it's all right. Makes me wonder.

Meander 3 - Writing - Had to start the new book over. Not really but critique group helped me see the opening scene though good left too much to the question. Also brought home to me that the heroine is the one with the most to lose or gain and she's the dominant focus for the book.+
