Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #BWLAuthor #MFRWAuthor #Reading #Writing #Thoughts

Meander 1 - Reading - Finished reading the last of the Dick Francis Books I have downloaded. Enjoyed reading them again.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - The concervatives have won a battle I hope they finally leave. Having been a nurse during the days when abortions were illegal and having seen some of the results of these i fear this is our future now. I saw women riddled with disease caused by unsterile procedures and saw deaths that were anything except good deaths. The odors remain in my head. I pray someone will take action to undo this and also to protect other rights that are now threatened. There is one justice who should not be on the court and he should be dumped soon.

Meander 3 = Writing - Still ahve one chanpter to finish the rough draft of the book.

Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #MFRWAuthor #BWLAuthor #Writing #Reading #Thoughts

Meander 1 - Reading has taken a twist this week. I'll soon be working on a series from long ago. There are at present 2 Books in the fantasy series. I am going to be working on four more to complete the series. What O'm reading is the first two books of the series, Moon Summoned and then Healwomen. Odd think is that I'm really enjoying them and I hope to be able to maintain the same sense of magic and story as I did in these two books. We will see.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - People are becoming restless and this isn't helped by words from the top. I find it odd that people are willing to risk their lives and I fear this early dropping of the being alone and maintaining distance will result in thousandsof people ill and even dying. Yes, there is hardship since people aren't working, children are at home but is it worth if to carry this illness to others. One will hopefully see an end and not a flair up of the number of people who are sickening and dying.

Meander 3 - Writing Writing One chapter to finish in the plot draft of Tangled Dreams. Then the fun begins since I must look at the settings and the characters. The time has come to pull out all the stops and make this story sing.

Meander 1 Poem -- Coffee Grounds

In the morning,
I always wanted hot coffee.
You never did.
For twenty years I drank alone,
Filled my mug with fresh perked brew.
You stayed in bed until I called.
Aftershave
Blotting my fragrant coffee beans.
Our marriage simmered on the stove,
A tiny flame of twenty years,
Oils and essences losing strength,
Turning bitter in the pot
Until today
I emptied the grounds.

Meander 2 - Doctor's Appointment - Had to take my husband to a gastrointerologist yesterday. He ahd a problem for one such doctor. When we arrived papers had to be filled out. Then we waited. Finally we saw, not the doctor but a nurse practitioner. I thought this was great. My son wondered why we didn't see the doctor. I tried to explain that what was bothering his father while important could have been treated by anyone who could write a prescription.

Meander 3 Writing -- Four chapters and a few hundred words on a fifth and I will be done with the chrrent project. Soon I'll need to start planning the next. I saw a question on Twitter that made me wonder. Do I keep pouring out books and not concentrating on the Great American novel. I don't think so. There are these people I know in my head who think people might enjoy reading their story.
