1.
What were
you before you became an author? Did this influence your choice as a writer?
I am a full-time mom and wife, jobs I thoroughly
enjoy. Until two years ago, I also worked in the financial industry.
My writing journey became a serious endeavor after I
was pregnant with my son, years before my career in finance. Did my years at
work help spark my creative juices and possibly motivate me to do something I
enjoyed? Yes!
I think most people are motivated by the thought of
doing something they love. I’m just glad I didn’t ignore the feeling.
2.
Are you
genre specific or general?
Currently, I write both historical romance and
contemporary romance.
In historical romance, my first series takes place
during the regency period. My contemporaries are both in billionaire and small-town
romance.
3.
What is
your latest release?
Wedded by the Billionaire is my latest release. It’s a
mistaken identity billionaire romance set in a city. This is book two in a
three-part series featuring the billionaire brothers of Wheelcaster.
Tetsuo, the hero, is a man determined to control every
aspect of his life, including his kinky one-night relationships. Until Tangela
shows up on his doorstep and Tet mistakes her for his date.
4.
What are
you working on now?
I’m so excited for my next project, an interracial
recency romance coming out in July. Each novella showcases the rich history and
success of people of color during the British Regency era.
As an author in the Regency in Color collaboration,
I’m very proud. Also, we are having a good time. Among authors like Elise
Marion, Celeste Barclay, Hildie McQueen, and five others, how can these
novellas not be fun!
Each month until November, a new title drops. If you
enjoy reading interracial regency romance, you will enjoy these stories.
5.
Does your
reading choice influence your choice of a writing career?
I don’t think so. I write the stories I enjoy reading.
Between writing, I read a wide range of genres. While
the majority are romance novels, I enjoy mystery and suspense too.
Writing started as an escape from the realities of
living with Cystic Fibrosis. I love every aspect of it.
