Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #MFRWAuthor #BWLAuthor #Reading #Writing #Thoughts

Meander 1 - Reading Finished all I could find on Amazon of F M Meredith's Rocky Bluff series. Was disappointed that I couldn't find them all. Who puts just part of a series up as ebooks. I haven't read a paper book for years. Am now reading the first book in Jennifer Probst's new series. She nearly lost me with the first chapter since it was dry and lacked her bounce. Since I really like her stories I continued and by the end of the second chapter, she was back in swing.

Meander 2 Thoughts - Another week in near solitary existence but that's all right. Is giving my time to write. Also time to growl about the NY State pension plan. My husband died in January and it is now May. He fixed his pension when he retired so that I would continue to receive the pension after his death. I have filled out more forms than one can imagine and sent the last ones March 16 th. Finally called yesterday to learn it would be ninety days from then until I received the pension. That makes it mid June except pensions usually go our the first of the month making July first the target date. Thank heavens for Social Security and the employees union. They had a small policy on my spouse and two weeks after I filled out the forms, I had my money. I didn't even have to have a ton of papers notorized.

Meander 3 Writing - Am working fast and furious on Tangled Dreams, doing the final rewrite and am managing a chapter every two days. If I can keep up the pace, I'll be done before too lone. Have finished 3 of 12.
