Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #MFRWAuthor #BWLAuthor #Poem #New month #Writing

Meander 1 - Poem  -- Hazards

I'm not looking for Prince Charming.
He's dangerous to my health.
Love strikes with viral suddenness
And grips you in the gut.
There's lassitude when he is gone
Plus loss of appetite.
Fever by night and chills by day.
The price is very high.
Another big discovery
Is when you find the prince
You kiss him and he changes fast
Into a slimy frog.
Who wants to be responsible
For metamorphosis?
From prince to frog or frog to prince.
I'll let him him change himself.

Meander 2 - A New Month - Hard to think it's September and time to set some goals for the month. One is to clean the kitchen, more straighten and throw out things that have molded in the fridge past their expiration date and organizing the spices. Another is to do a bit more in my bedroom to make it more organized. Also to order some things for the room like padding for the mattress. The last is to pray they can fix the dryer and call the plumber to do a check of the heating system.

Meander 3 - Writing -- Am on the draft that fills in all the spaces I wrote in the terse rough draft. I would like to finish this draft by the end of the month but probably not. Then it will be revision time. That will help.
