Meandering On Monday with Janet Lane Walters

Meander 1 - Am doing JeRoWriMo again this year and hopefully I'll reach the goal before February is done. I'm on track so far, but there's one thing I can't do. I can't count words I've decided to toss away. Doesn't make sense to me since they aren't words added to my total. I passed the 10000 mark last week and may hit the 20000 mark this week will all depend on what happens with the new thing I've started and the added words to what I'm typing in.

Meander 2 The Olympics are in progress. I really used to love the ski jumping but what I saw last night didn't do it for me. There seemed to be something missing and I'm not sure what it was. I think it's because I didn't feel like I was flying with the skiers. There were some interesting other events. The ice dancing was lovely. But I don't sit glued to the screen I pop in and out during commercials on my shows. But then I always pop around when there are commercials.

Meander 3 Melodic dreams is in wait mode until I finish typing the chapters. I've started Toth's Priest and find what I'm doing is mainly telling the story in the rough draft. There's little of the elements needed to make this a story but they will come since that's the way I write. The taking to an alternate Egypt is the same but the arrival there is different since the heroine as the story opens is sixteen and I want to make this a love story so she will have to remain in the alternate world and off stage for three years. I'll manage the trick for all writing is like a magician pulling rabbits out of a hat.
