The Rescue Plot ends with a confrontation between the good guy and the bad guy. This usually ends with the good guy successful. There are other twists. One comes when the victim refuses to be rescued. Having an ending like this means the writer must show during the remainder of the book, the possibility of this evnt. another twist is that the bad guy wins and defeats the good guy. again to achieve this the threads must be present during the earlier story.
