Tuesday's Writer's Tip _Main Character and the Story's Climax #BWLAuthor #MFRWAuthor #writing #climax #main character

As the author, there is one thing to be sure to make happening. Make sure the main character is in the middle of that scene called the climax. This is when all the elements of the story reach the point of no return. Leaving out the main character in the dark and having this major scene occur when this character isn't present makes the story fall flat. He or she has invested much during the action phases of the story and he or she must be there. This is the character who has changed the most and that final crisis is theirs to solve. Win or lose this main character needs to face what the end of the story will show.
