Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #BWLAuthor #MFRWAuthor #Reading #Writing #Thoughts

Meander 1 - Reading - Read three new books this week. Dangerous Getaway by Eden Monroe. What an intriguing story that kept me wondering. Two people trapped in a wine cellar in a remote mountain cottage. He chose this as a place to unwind. She is a new interior designer hoping this potential job will make her reputation. Things are not as the surface seems. A great story.  Next read Wrath by S Peters- Davis. The final story in a paranormal series featuring the Warriors of Light and the evils from another dimension. Great tension and many twists and turns. Finally Helen Henderson's Fire and Amulet - a fantasy in a fascinating world with characters who sieze your interest. A young dragon slayer is sent from her home to slay a dragon and return with proof she has. Her mother took the same quest and when returned had to face the goddess and was consumed.. Her struggles and those of the young man who is sent to make sure she fails is a grant adventure. She is aided by one who was her mother's friend and has acted as her mentor. Wonderful story.

Meander 2 - Thoughts - Despite the Republicans who want to ruin everything, the first black woman is now a Supreme Court Justice. This is a wonderful step in our country. The only thing that taints the Supreme Court is a male justice whose wife is one who wants to see Democracy destroyed. He needs to resign or be impeached, a difficult progress.

Meander 3 - Writing - Am nearly finished typing in all the changes in Committee of Angels. Hopefully by Monday, I'll be able to send this off and then start Sappora the fifth book in the Moon Rising series.
