Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #MFRWAuthor #BWLPublishing #Poem #Book Talk #Writing

Meander 1  Poem --  Shallow Waters --

Clustered in shallow shore waters
Huddled -- Bodies pressed.
She feels secure, yet
Pushed and pulled
By the tides of others.
Her feet abraded
By sand, shells and stones
Washed by the waves
To waters low.
Salt stings
She cannot move
Leave the huddled mass
Of others. Bodies packed
Jammed onto a narrow shore.
Horizons stretching far.
She cannot see.

Meander 2 - The book talk that went nowhere except to have some book sales. The first decent day of spring with a higher temperature than we've seen for months and the bright sun shining. So we went to give a talk about the Road to Publication and only the librarian arrived. We talked to her. The library bought some books, but nothing more happened. We went to a late lunch and then drove home.

Meander 3 - Writing - Finally back on track since I found a glitch where I ended in a snarl of repetitions but now it's cleared out and so I've begun again and this time I think I'll be able to get to the end.
