Meandering on Monday with Janet Lane Walters #MFRWAuthor #BWLPublishing #Poem #Roses #Writing

Meander 1 - Poem -

The dark madness called love
Engulfs and blinds to every light
Except the small light in your eyes.
There is no moon or sun
Even the candle has no glow.
I cannot see any light but you.
I see you awake or dreaming.
I don't have to close my eyes.
I can hallucinate your presence
And feel your hand in mine.

Meander 2 - Fall - Fall has been with us for nearly two weeks but I see no colored leaves on the trees. They're green and bright. The roses abound in my garden. Red, yellow, orange and purple roses are plentiful. There is also a new guest to the garden. Actually two ornamental cabbages dark green with purple centers. I've been told they will last through some of the winter. That is good.

Meander 3 - Writing - Am plowing ahead through Children of Fyre a fantasy romance that ends the Island of Fyre series. A bit more complicated than the others since there is a child - actually adults now for each of the groups in the other books. The wizards, the dragon riders, the temple priestesses and priests and those who drive the wizards from the Citadel. The first few chapters are progressing very well. Let's hope the others go well.
