ircular endings seem to make a circle and the ending mirrors she beginning. Almost. There are differences but there are changes. The reader cansee clearly between what was and what had come to be. There is a contrast and can be bitter or sweet. This contrast must be clear. In the one story with a true circular ending that I've written. The set up is the same.
The heroine arrives to deliver a set of orphaned twins to the man named by their dead mother as their guardian. He isn;t there to meet her and she must rent a car, upset her plans and drive them from the airport to their new home. The story ends with her arriving at the airport without the twins. He isn't there to meet her and she goes to rent a car and finds him and the twins at the rental area.
So the reader sees the circle and the quiet but happy ending.
The story has come home. These endings don't need the big action bang up scene. That must come before if one is needed.
Again, the contrast must be clear and the variable highlighted. This brings a satisfactory ending.
