Meander 1  Poem -- Seeing Old Friends

What a pleasure! What joy!
Seeing old friends you've missed for years.
To share your lives once again
And to see what they've become
To hear of those you haven't greeted
To love them once again.
And then to wonder why
You haven't kept better touch.
That's the pain of moving.
The bond you've shared is broken.
A visit is a little string
With no elasticity.

Meander 2 - A Book sale. Smash words is having their summer sale for all of July and my books are among the many they're offering. So if you've been curious about any of the books I've written, and there are a slew, visit Smashwords and pick up one or two. Here's the place to go. https://www.smashwords.com/books/search?query=Janet+Lane+Walters

Meander 3 - Writing - Am nearing the end of Forgotten Dreams. There is one chapter to finish rewriting and then three to proof and I can send this off to the editor. What them. I'll begin the second Lines of Fire story that's been bubbling closer to the surface.
