1. Tell me about your latest release? Genre?
Though not out exactly, my latest release The Children of Fyre is up for pre-order and will go live sometime later this month. This is a fantasy romance featuring the children of the heros and heroines of the three books in the series. One is even a child of the enemy but she is also a rebel against the wizards of Fyre. They will form a new home for dragons and must finally end the threat of the wizards. During their journey, they learn to use the fyrestones including the fabled blue and become bonded to their dragons and to each other.

2. Where did the idea arise?
When I finished the third book in the series, the wizards were banished to their original home. It came to me that they wouldn't remain dormant and they needed to be finished off. This book takes place 25 years after the last of the three. Most of the original banished wizards have died but they have infused their followers with the need to slay the dragons, destroy the priestesses and to regain their lost captured Citadel.

3. How much research was involved? Did you stay on point or be distracted by wanting to look at just one more thing?
Research was interesting. I had to read the three books again and make notes on people and events I wanted to show in this book. This included the triple bonding for a bonded couple to use the blue fyrestone. Also included how to care for dragons after the eggs hatched.

4. How long did you take to write the book?
For me this book seemed to take forever. I usually take three to four months to write a book. This time it took more than six months and I wondered if I would ever finish.

5. Now a bit about you. How long have you been writing? What is your Sun Sign?
I've been writing for most of my life but seriously began about 50 years ago. Published in short stories and poetry and four nurse romance stories. Then a bit of a delay in my career when I returned to work as a nurse to help put children through college. Then back to writing to find an entire new world. Needing to write synopsis rather than sending the entire book. Need to find an agent. I had to spend some time learning how to do those things. I fear I failed at writing the synopsis. Had an agent who would rather try to sell the book without using my synopsis. Then I discovered electronic publishing and it's been full speed since them.
My Sun sign is Cancer. So is my Moon sign. My ascendant is Taurus. These things i know since I once along iwth a friend earned a trip to Ireland casting horoscopes for people. She did the math. I interpreted.

I write in a number of subgenres of romance, including contemporary both sweet and spicy, paranormal and fantasy. I also write cozy mysteries, a medical suspense, YA fantasies and I dabbled in non-fiction,
