Meander 1 - Tightrope
A tightrope stretched so fine is life.
Upon it we must tread.
The smallest slip can mean our blood
Spread on the rocks below.
And so we inch the dangerous heights.
We lean from side to side.
Sometimes we find a balanced one
To aid our journey on.
Meander 2 - Bile. Everytime I read in a book that bile flowed in my throat, I want to scream. This is a bit of an not accurate. Bile flows into the small intestines. And yes, I have seen patients vomit bile but they are very ill. What flows into the throat and perhaps reaches the mouth is acid. The condition is acid reflux, not bile reflux. I pray someone takes this wording that has become a cliche and learns how false it is. Acid flowed into my throat, so filled with fear was I.
Meander 3. Writing. Have begin the third draft of the book and hopefully this will be the last full one I have to do. We will see. I don't think I'll make the August deadline that I foolishly set but I will do as best as I can.
